Alessandro Ferrari

Alessandro Ferrari is a full Professor at the Department of Law, Economy and Cultures at the University of Insubria (Como and Varese) and an expert at the Council for the Relationships with the Italian Islam at the Italian Ministry of Home Affairs. He has held various expert positions at public bodies in the past. His research interests include law and religion in Europe, the legal status of Islam in Europe, and law, constitutions and religion in the Mediterranean space. He has taught at Université de Strasbourg, Northwestern University (IL) and Université du Québec à Montréal, among others.
